I'm co-hosting a big inauguration party with my pal Jessica Gottlieb. Inauguration Day, Tuesday, January 20, 2009. Here's the thing.....I can't tell you who is sponsoring. I can't tell you what the sponsor is announcing and I can't tell who the Hollywood moms who will be there are.....Yet.

Stay tuned. I'll let you know RIGHT away!

I am wondering if anyone else is wondering how to deal with election day at schools. My son is 7 and they are going to show a live feed of the inauguration. Unfortunately, there is likely to be a very left slant to the entire affair--is anyone else having issues with this that you know of?

I would rather not pull him out of school but I just know that they will not be able to contain themselves.

You win either way. If you leave your kid in school it's a great opportunity to discuss what YOU believe at home, and that what makes America wonderful is all families are free to have different opinions.

If you take your kid out of school for the day, you can put together your own historic trips, trivia about presidents, how our governments works. Find coverage you can live with and share it together.

In school, or out of it, this event is an amazing chance to reinforce the values in which your family believes.
